Villa la Bella, formerly Villa las Brisas
This boutique B&B provides a truly unique experience. The property is next to the only swimmable beach
(May – October) on the Caribbean side of the island. A quick walk takes you into the nearby colonia, or an
inexpensive taxi ride will get you into downtown or to Playa Norte in just minutes. Curtis’ homemade
breakfasts are excellent, as are the pina coladas and other beverage options at the on-site bar.
Breakfasts include beverage, sweet roll, fresh fruit, and main entrée, except for Mondays (chef’s day off)
when continental breakfast is served.
There is a nice pool, hammock pergola, ocean side swing bar, and seating in a unique open-air palapa
living room, great for relaxing or socializing. The owner's are continually adding unique touches, including
hand-made furniture and crafts. This property is adults’ only to preserve the tranquility.
All rooms have an ocean view, each with a king bed and hammock, large shower with real conch shell
shower head, small fridge, ceiling fan, bottled water, and daily maid service.
The 3 contemporary bungalows are ground floor next to the swimming pool. They have AC.
The 2 unique palapa rooms are on the second floor with incredible views. These feature a hanging bed
with mosquito netting. Open-air, these rooms are cooled by the Caribbean breezes.
The honeymoon suite is huge, on the upper floor over the main building, with AC and two decks
overlooking the pool and ocean.
