Ixchel Beach Hotel & Condos
Located on the beautiful beach of Playa Norte, in a great location; this brand new in 2006 property is
only a short walk to the center of town for many shopping and restaurant choices. This unique property
has both standard hotel-type rooms, and condo suites, decorated to each individual owner's tastes, but
adhering to the standards of the complex. Each full unit is two-bedroom, two-bath, with stocked
kitchenette, dining area, balcony or terrace, and living room. The master bedroom has one king bed,
and the second bedroom has two double beds. Each living room has a futon for additional sleeping
arrangements for up to 6 persons. Lock-off the second bedroom, and you get a one-bedroom, one-bath
suite with kitchen, dining area, and living room that sleeps up to four. The lock-off room creates a
standard two double bed hotel room with private bath, which sleeps up to four.
Each suite has individual A/C control, wide screen remote television with international cable, CD and
DVD, telephone, wireless Internet, telephone, iron, alarm clock, safe, and hair dryer. One television is in
the living room or master bedroom, and a second is located in the second bedroom. Bedding and
linens are provided. The kitchen is stocked with refrigerator, coffee maker, toaster, microwave and
bottled water. Standard hotel rooms have the same amenities with exception of kitchen, dining area,
living room and balcony or terrace. For special occasions, or those wanting more space and amenities,
penthouses are offered. Phase I units have a spiral staircase leading to a private rooftop garden with
awesome views, Jacuzzi, and bathroom with shower. This option is available as a two-bedroom suite.
In Phase II the Penthouses have a Jacuzzi on the balcony and are just one-bedroom.
Daily room service is provided, as well as parking . Laundry or babysitting is available at an additional
cost. A work-out room is also available. Children are always welcome, and rooms are non-smoking.
Relax around the on-site pool and enjoy a cold snack or beverage at the poolside lounge, open
breakfast till late afternoon. The food is now provided by the owners of Comonos restaurant - a favorite
on the island, open for breakfast, lunch or snacks.
Beautiful sunsets can be watched from your balcony, or at the nearby Sunset Grill, (where guests have
charging privileges). The large palapa beach bar and restaurant serves cocktails, breakfast, lunch,
snacks, and dinner.
