This home sits on a hill in Colonia La Gloria, where the seasoned traveler can enjoy a full Mexican
immersion. The casual traveler will enjoy a private escape from the nearby tourist beaches and
attractions. Swimming beaches are just a short taxi ride away, or walkable in about 15 minutes. Taxis
to Playa Norte and downtown are inexpensive and quick. The house is across from the bus route as
well. Several good restaurants are within three blocks of the house, including Pizza Rock, La Bruha,
Daniel's, Tacos, and the neighborhood bakery, not to mention deliveries to the door for juice, fish and
more. Small markets for provisions are on every block.
Relax on the beautiful back terrace with flowering plants and a soothing water wall fountain, or try out
the brand new rooftop terrace. The views from the top are spectacular in all directions - watch glorious
sunrises, sunbathe, or enjoy breathtaking sunsets. Massages can be arranged and enjoyed outdoors
by the fountain, or indoors if you prefer.
Built with style, the living room / dining room has hand made furniture and bar stools, and all the
cabinetry and doors are custom made from cedar crafted on the island. The colorful day bed sofas are
a great place to relax or take a leisurely nap. Television is provided with cable. Wireless Internet is
available if you bring your laptop.
There are 2 bedrooms with A/C, queen sized beds and upscale linens. Each room has a French door
out to the back terrace. The fully furnished kitchen is a cook's delight with full stove and oven, full-size
fridge with freezer, microwave, toaster oven, blender, mixer, hot and cold water cooler and all the
accessories. Bath towels are provided, but bring your own beach towels. Maid service is provided
once per week for towels, bed linens and a quick clean.
