Cabanas Maria del Mar
The Hotel and Cabanas are located on the beach at the north-west end of Isla Mujeres on the well known
beach, Playa Norte. The hotel is divided into three sections; Castle, Cabanas and Tower. The famous
Buho’s Beach Bar and Restaurant is located here, with good Mexican food, drinks, "swing-up" bar seats,
hammocks and Happy Hour daily.
Castle Rooms
18 rooms fully renovated in the fall of 2003, with 17 with king beds, and one with two doubles, AC, ceiling
fans, TV, small fridge, and shared balcony or terrace.
Cabana Rooms – Ground Floor
15 units surrounding the pool and luscious tropical courtyard, with double beds, AC, ceiling fan, small
fridge and private terrace.
Tower Rooms
24 rooms to the side of the pool courtyard. The 8 ground floor rooms were fully renovated winter of 2006,
with King beds, AC, and ceiling fan. 15 rooms on the 2nd and 3rd floor have one double and one single
bed, with AC, ceiling fan and small fridge. One room has two double beds.
